

Looking for something to do on a weekend in Utah? Palisade State Park is located under 2 hours from Salt Lake City. You can tent, RV or cabin camp. If you prefer not to camp there are many lodging options about 10 miles away in Manti. Go here for more information on camping within the park.
There is plenty of fun to be had at Palisade including playing 18-holes of golf, off roading, hiking, fishing, & other water activities. If you are looking for a place to boat, this is not the place for you. Only boats with electric trolling motors and non-motorized boats are allowed.
Fishing is great at Palisade State Park. Either from the shore or from a boat it doesn’t matter. Remember, only electric motors are allowed on the lake. Fishing is good on the reservoir. There are mainly 3 types of fish that you will catch: Rainbow Trout, Tiger Trout, & Cutthroat Trout. The limit of fish you are able to take from Palisade Reservoir is 4 trout.
If you want to play in the water but don’t have the right gear you can always rent it there at the park. Palisade State Park has it’s own rental service where they rent paddle boats, paddleboards, canoes and kayaks for kids and adults. Rental fees includes life jackets and paddles.
Lakeside Grill serves breakfast, lunch and dinner items. They also have drinks and snacks, and they even sell ice to keep your drinks cold while you are camping.
